Move tokens around the track, then into the home path.
Section 02 · Your move
Roll, choose a token, and move that many spaces.
The die gives your distance. Good Ludo play is choosing which token benefits most from the roll.
Section 03 · Tactics
Capture loose tokens and protect advanced ones.
Landing on an opponent can send that token home, but racing too aggressively can expose your own pieces.
Section 04 · Turn flow
A turn, in order.
①
Roll the die.
Use the result to choose a legal token.
②
Move along the track.
Advance exactly the rolled number.
③
Resolve captures.
If you land on a vulnerable opponent, send it back to its yard.
④
Enter home exactly.
Finish tokens by moving them into the home path.
Section 05 · Legal vs. illegal
What counts — and what does not.
Legal
Moving one token by the rolled amount.
Capturing an opponent on a vulnerable square.
Finishing only with the exact count needed.
Not allowed
Splitting one roll across multiple tokens.
Moving through your home path with the wrong color.
Overshooting the final home space.
Section 06 · Winning
Bring all four tokens home first.
The winner is the first player to move every token around the board and safely into the home area.
Section 07 · Try it
Now play a quick game.
Play a quick solo race and practice balancing captures against safe progress.
